technology,

business.
She
currently
works
at
Hong
Kong’s
TVB
Pearl
network
(Television
Broadcasts
Ltd)
as
the
main
anchor
for
the
English
language
evening
news
and
hosts
the
weekly
show ‘Pearl
Magazine’
where
she
is
also
Senior
Supervising
Producer.

2025 Workshop Host: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for Menopause Symptom Management
Melissa started as a TV presenter and daily news reporter, covering defense at GMA-7 in the Philippines and later as a producer for the award winning investigative show ‘Assignment’ on the Philippines’ top network ABS-CBN Channel 2. She also worked as producer and host for various shows covering the telecoms industry for TelecomTV in London, UK.
She later moved back to the Philippines where she worked on several shows at ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) including the science and technology show ‘Future Perfect’ as executive producer, as well as co-host and producer of the award-winning personal finance show ‘On the Money’ before moving to Hong Kong to take a job with Television Broadcasts Ltd. She has been at TV Pearl for almost 10 years and recently took a position as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong teaching Writing and Producing for TV News, a master’s degree class in HKU’s Journalism and Media Studies Center.
Melissa grew up in the US, Italy and Thailand.
